To undertake, promote and co-ordinate programs of Community Health, Reproductive health, Mother & Child Care, Prevention of HIV/AIDS, TB Control, Malaria Control, Naturopathy, Nutrition and Preventive Medicine etc.

To undertake, promote and co-ordinate programs of vocational training, education, perspective and capability building and promotion of thrift and credit groups for the development of all sections of society.

To undertake short and long term programs and projects to promote literacy, education and training at all levels and in all fields for the benefit of society at large.

To undertake, promote and co-ordinate programs/projects for all round personality and career development of youth and children.

To promote and support cultural, literary and recreational activities amongst children and youth and adults at all levels.

To provide career, investment and placement guidance along with family and personal counseling.

To undertake, promote and co-ordinate programs of environment awareness, pollution control, ecological preservation and natural resource management.

To undertake, promote and co-ordinate programs of rural and urban relief and rehabilitation, and reconstruction in times of natural calamities and man-made disasters.

To undertake the promotion, development and marketing of crafts and handicrafts.

To Receive grants, donations, borrowings and other contributions from  governments, banks and other financial institutions, cooperatives, corporate bodies, developments agencies and individuals for general, as well as specific purposes.
